Choosing downtown Colorado Springs for your senior photo session is never a bad idea.
There are so many different background and setting options to choose from. There's the beautiful Colorado College campus, or the heritage gardens and duck pond by Van Briggle Pottery. Showcase stunning Pikes Peak views from a parking garage rooftop, or the bridge by the Olympic Training Center museum. Creatively redone alleys, abundant mural paintings, and walls of graffiti art are available depending on your personal tastes, and Tejon Street in particular offers a fun and colorful space for urban photos. Brady felt these suited him well, and we enjoyed exploring AdAmAn alley (fun fact: Brady has a relative who was in the club many years ago!), walking down Tejon and Pikes Peak Ave by the old Peak theater, and then ascending to a nearby parking garage rooftop to enjoy those Peak views and the western side of the city as the lights began to come on and the sun went down.
Brady is a young man of many hats, so to speak. From playing guard on the football team at Discovery Canyon Campus HS, to participating in DECA, he is a well-rounded guy and confident in who he is and what he likes. He is well-mannered and polite, an introvert (like me!), intelligent and driven, with plans to attend a university next fall - he's not sure which one, but doesn't want to get lost in the crown, or be somewhere TOO small. Brady plans to study business, pre-law, or both! I told him that one day he may be helping me, or people like me, with any potential business legal issues. I certainly would trust him if I needed help!
I was delighted to meet Brady's puppy, Kenny, and glad Brady wanted to include him in some photos! While Kenny is definitely a mama's boy and tried to stay close to Brady's mom, he was comfortable enough to play with Brady a little bit before bolting back to mom. *laugh* Fun Fact: Brady's older brother included their older dog in his senior photos a couple of years ago! Such a fun family tradition!
It was a beautiful fall evening, with mild temperatures, a light breeze, a clear sky, and a beautiful sunset - the exact kind of evening you hope for, for a photo session! Thank you, Brady, for trusting me with your senior photos. I enjoyed getting to know you as we explored downtown! I know to expect great things from you as you head off into your adult life soon. Enjoy these moments of your senior year, and soak it all in!
