With its thick ponderosa pine forest, glorious sunsets, lovely fall aspens, and beautiful water features, Fox Run Park is the perfect location for a senior session filled with ample natural variety!
When Izzy said that she wanted Fox Run Park for her senior session, I knew we would have a gold mine of opportunities. Izzy also elected to use two dresses from my client closet which gave her the dreamy, whimsical feed to her forest session that she hoped for. Her additional outfit provided amazing contrast to the two dresses, amplifying the variety of her photos even further! And we could not have asked for a better evening. The late September air was warm but pleasant and just a few clouds in the sky illuminated by the setting sun made for a truly magical scene. Finding fall color in Black Forest can be challenging, but Fox Run provides - the aspens around the aptly named Aspen Lake were absolutely glorious in their autumn splendor, and the lower-lying deciduous plants and bushes were putting on their own fall display so we took full advantage of the seasonal color!
Izzy is quiet and unassuming, a truly sweet and genuine person. She is a self-described artsy animal-lover, and enjoys participating in theater at Vista Ridge High School and graphic design. I've seen her work and she is truly talented! She is pursuing her AA in graphic design and I have no doubt she's going to find great success in her skills. Her character, joy, and drive will take her so far in life. Izzy is the second child to graduate from high school in her family, only one year behind her older sister Adia who I had the pleasure of photographing last year. Adia & Izzy share a lot in common, and it was hard for Izzy to say goodbye to her sister when she went to college this year, but she is already rocking her senior year and will soon follow in Adia's footsteps as she graduates and makes her own way in the world.
I'm truly honored, Izzy, that you and your family entrusted me once again with such a special milestone in your life. You've been through so much change this year with so much more to come, but you have the Lord's strength guiding you and a wonderful support system in your family and friends. I have absolutely no doubt you will overcome every challenge you face and make a beautiful life for yourself as you spread your wings! Enjoy your senior year, lovely lady!
