My first two impressions of Travis were 1. What a gentleman! And 2. This kid looks like Elvis!
I couldn't get past the Elvis thing for the entire time we spent together. But his politeness really resounded with me - truly a young man of character! What a gem! I had a blast with Travis. We adventured ALL through Garden of the Gods, looking for the best spots for epic photos. From the thick grassy meadows in the center of the park, through the main garden area where we climbed a few rocks and dodged some bright sunlight, to ending with an eye-popping sunset at High Point Overlook, it was truly an adventure!
At the end of his session Travis wanted a few photos of his signature moves - those were some of my favorites! Haha! Some of these were inside jokes with his buddies, who were doing the same thing at THEIR senior sessions. I always recommend injecting your personality as much as possible into your photos! Do NOT be afraid to ask to do something different or special, or to include items that mean something to you - even if they seem wildly different than what anyone else might be doing. THAT is precisely what will make your photos unique and AWESOME! Be like Travis!

Travis even graduated early. So not only was he incredibly kind and polite and very photogenic, but highly intelligent to boot! He wasn't sure of his immediate plans at the time, especially with his family imminently moving to the midwest, but he started college and is doing well - I'm so proud of him and appreciate mom's updates via Facebook! :)
