I was excited for Kaleb's senior session long before it began!
This talented football player from Liberty High School here in Colorado Springs wanted to showcase his athletic career as much as we could manage without access to the district's football stadium - such a disappointment! But we made it work with some awesome photos at Black Forest Park in the wide open intramural fields, including some action shots thanks to the involvement of Kaleb's dad!
Parents - there is always a way for you to help and be involved in your senior's session! :)
While we were at Black Forest Park, we also got some semi-casual poses among the trees as the lovely afternoon light filtered through the trees. Despite some incoming weather - very common here in Colorado in the summer months, and important to remember when planning your session - we had absolutely amazing conditions while at the park!
Then we drove to Garden of the Gods, and that's when the adventure began. :)
Kaleb was ready in a full tuxedo for this portion of his session at High Point Overlook! Seniors - ALWAYS a good idea to plan a formal outfit for your session! Of course, this is when the storms broke loose over the mountains, spilling into the Colorado Springs area. The first part of our time at Garden of the Gods was dry, but we finished out Kaleb's session with rain falling down and a richly colored sunset in the background. While it wasn't ideal, the weather produced an absolutely stunning backdrop for photos. Thankfully we were almost done so Kaleb didn't get too cold or wet! What a trooper he was - and his senior gallery was epic for all his efforts! Check it out!
Kaleb also came back for Cap and Gown minis in the Spring - I highly recommend this add-on to your session, it's such a sweet way to end senior year!
