High Point Overlook is THE most popular photo location around, at least in my own clientele!


There are very good reasons for this. Even though this location is often crawling with photographers and their clients, and often used for weddings, and very popular with tourists... it's GORGEOUS. The views here are absolutely stunning. Pikes Peak looms directly to the west, behemoth from this perspective. The main Garden of the Gods park area is just to the north, providing another backdrop of rich red rocks and a canvas of trees, the color of which depends on the season. To the south is Cheyenne Mountain. There is not a bad view in the place at all! And so much variety!


Not to mention that High Point Overlook is gorgeous in ANY season as you can see from the example images below. Any season, and any weather. Rain, snow, sunshine, open sky, clouds - I've photographed it all! And it all looks amazing. The sunsets here are absolutely stunning. When Pikes Peak is wearing its seasonal blanket of snow, I love it even more.


Even though it's immensely popular, in my opinion every family needs photos at iconic High Point Overlook at some point. It's quintessential Colorado! It is also a fabulous spot for senior photos. Next time you book with Eden's Glow Photography, consider choosing High Point Overlook!
