Sweet Ezra graced his parents with his presence just before Christmas! What a wonderful gift!
Saray reached out to me just after Christmas, ready to capture Ezra's tiny self before any more time passed - as it SO quickly does with littles, especially babies! I did her maternity session back in November and am so happy I got to document the next part of this family's story now that Ezra had arrived! We originally planned on New Year's Day because we were all available, and as parents, none of us party too much anymore. Haha! However Saray's hair and makeup artist was not available so we moved to the day after new year's. :) Saray had hair and make up done for her maternity session as well as her newborn session - I can't recommend this highly enough! Saray felt so much more confident and happy with her photos and especially as a new mom, what a relief it was to have someone else take care of this so she could focus on other things - like enjoying all those baby snuggles while I pressed the shutter button!
Y'all - Ezra was the most RELAXED new little baby I've ever met! So so chill. He put up no fuss as he was swaddled and did not make a peep through his entire session until the very end, when we were actually done, and he realized he was hungry again and needed a clean diaper. Dustin & Saray ensured he was clean and well-fed beforehand, which does make a huge difference for newborn sessions, but Ezra is also just uniquely relaxed and we had so much fun and were able to do so much because of it! This is one reason I also enjoy Lifestyle sessions over posed newborn - Ezra spent most of the session in one of his parents' arms, warm and snuggly. He was content and knew he was safe right with his mom and dad. What better place is there to be?
Saray & Dustin's dog also made an appearance for a few photos at the end, and their sweet kitty made it into the background of a few shots too. What a joy it was to spend a couple of hours with this family in their home, peacefully capturing tiny baby feet, little fingers, sweet snuggles, and all the love of two becoming three. Thank you, Saray & Dustin, for trusting me again with these memories. What a treasure Ezra is! I can't wait to watch him grow up with you guys - he is so so blessed to have y'all as parents! Enjoy this precious time while he is tiny! <3
