It's rare that I do a session in the morning - I'm no morning person, ha! I love a good sunrise if I'm alone in my pjs having a cuppa.
This beautiful session happened mid-morning - a VERY tricky time for the lighting I prefer to get for my sessions! Thankfully, Black Forest provides some shade from Colorado's harsh midday sunlight and we were able to capture some beautiful photos at a time that worked for this lovely family's littles!
What a special session this was - These sisters got together with their little people and their parents for a small extended family session! The cousins are very close in age and had SO much fun together. We got photos of them that perfectly capture who they are at this point in their lives - adorable, wiggly, unpredictable. :) I always attempt to get the classic, often-desired looking and smiling photos, even with littles. But while I'm attempting to do so, often your littles are doing the most adorable little-people things, and the real joy of capturing your memories is these in-between, more candid moments that truly show who they are!
Anyway, we prioritzed getting the group shot and the sweet little cousins together, then had a blast capturing each of the sisters' families, and their parents too! Extended family sessions are such a sweet opportunity to get photos with family members you don't see as often - they can be absolutely chaotic and incredibly fun at the same time!
