I've always been a sucker for a cowboy hat and boots, so this session was a dream come true!
Add in another stunning Colorado sunset and a whole lot of laughter and we had the complete formula for the perfect senior guy session!
Senior guy sessions have a reputation of being.... challenging. Let's face it, MOST guys aren't too into getting their photo taken. Gracie wasn't too thrilled, to be sure, but he was used to professional photography from family photos growing up, and has a great relationship with his mom, who kept him laughing throughout this session, which helped a lot! I also enjoying getting to know Gracin and his interests - it's one of my favorite parts of a session, getting to know my client. Not only does this help them relax in front of the camera, but enables me to produce more genuine images that reflect who they are! This session with Gracie was no exception.
I kept calling him a Male Model for a reason! I mean, look at these photos - posed, but so natural. He was so comfortable in front of the camera, or knew how to act like it. I felt like the paparazzi on the red carpet. :)
As always, Palmer Park was a stunning set for our session. In the heart of Colorado Springs, it boasts so many amazing features that combine for amazing photos! We tried a new spot among the trees since there were no clouds to filter out the sun, and it didn't disappoint! Then we headed out to my favorite overlook just in time for a colorful sunset. Here Gracie showed off his dapper side in a suit and tie and we got some Cap and Gown photos too!
Thanks for an awesome senior guy session, Gracie, and showing 'em how it's done!
