Oh. My. Cuteness!!!
I could do fur baby minis all day, every day! I love animals, and they are so often a very special part of my family. I grew up with two dogs (and my beloved fish), and in my teen years we had a cat. I've now had four cats as an adult, added two bunnies this year, and so wish I had even more! It's no surprise to me how much we love our beloved pets, so naturally we want to include them in our family photos!
See this post about some tips for including your pets in your session - minis or full sessions!
Having these sweet families show off their furry loved ones was an absolute blast. D'Artagnan the Corgi reminded me of my beloved Daisy, who I was blessed with a short time after college. His wild energy kept us on our toes as he constantly sniffed and scanned for something to chase! He has since been joined by an adopted sister - I'll have to get this sweet family back in front of my camera soon!
Madeline and her sweet bunny, Ash, melted my heart. This guy was truly the nicest! He and his human have such a precious bond and it was easy to photograph them cuddling and playing in the grass. He was content as could be and made it easy to get Madeline's one requested shot of a nose boop. :) Most people want to include their dogs in their photos, which is great! But don't be afraid to include more unconventional pets, either, as long as they can be included safely!
And then there was sweet Samson. Sweet little Samson who is now the hulk of grown up puppies! But at the time of this session he was still small and so so soft and sweet, just wanting to lick all of his people and run all over the place! He never stopped moving - it was tough to get him looking at the camera but so worth the effort! He frustrated his small humans with his refusal to sit still, but they love him oodles anyway!
